Winter Wonderland Wedding at Cripps Barn

This winter wedding is a total stunner, one filled with heaps of foliage, special details and heaps of class at the beautiful Cotswolds wedding venue, Cripps Barn. As a cotswolds wedding florist I always love heading up here to dress this venue, it is such a treat with it’s roaring fire, stone walls and tons of candles it is the perfect winter wedding venue. Abi and Craig were married last December and these photos from Samuel Docker are just insane, capturing their special day so well. Abi first found me through Instagram, and was keen to have a really, natural, loose foliage heavy wedding day filled with seasonal blooms in ivory and muted cappuccino tones. Take a look at this…. and that dress and shoes!! Abi you are the most stunning bride!

I filled the bouquets with beautiful Cappuccino and Quicksand roses, with white anemone, ranunculus and lots of winter foliage with berries. They had lots of texture from the eucalyptus and ferns and complemented the gorgeous dresses perfectly. What a gorgeous bridal party!

For the ceremony I dressed the mantel with a huge all foliage arrangement, winter is a great time of year for foliage so I used scented spruce, eucalyptus, ivy, rusks and lots of trailing ferns. The candle sticks at Cripps Barn are so pretty on the mantel, it is such a great back drop for the wedding ceremony. Don’t the guys look amazing, I would love to see more black tie weddings!

I seriously went to town inside the barn on foliage, the main room was decorated with large circular wreaths from House of Bunting, covered in natural foliage, and I made a huge arch arrangement (which you can only see the back of here!) between the main ceremony barn and the dining barn.

Guests dined beneath metres of foliage garlands, which really added some warmth and a natural feel to the inside of the dining room. Simple garlands were also placed on the table too, due to sharing food being placed on the tables, we opted for this simple decoration. Abi was a complete joy to work with and thanks so much for sharing these photos Samuel Docker. This wedding was also featured on Rock My Wedding, you can see the whole blog here!
