The ultimate wedding flowers at Cripps Barn
I cannot wait to share these wedding flowers at Cripps Barn with you! One of my favourite weddings this summer it was a serious pleasure to work with Bec and Jimmy on their wedding. We filled Cripps Barn with all the foliage and ivory seasonal blooms, creating such impact! Here are the beautiful images from Photography by Krishanti of their big day, some pretty hot wedding inspo right here!

We chose to work with elegant, classy all ivory tones yet incorporate loads of lovely natural foliage to fit within the country Cotswold barn setting. The bouquets were filled with ivory scented stocks, astilbe, roses, spray roses and dahlias. The perfect floral combination for September! I used lots of foliage including a mix of darker green pistache, ferns and soft grey eucalyptus and olive. This gives that loose and natural feel, which is so popular in florals right now.

We really went to town on flowers for Cripps Barn, it is one of my favourite Cotswold wedding venues to dress! The open roaring fire, high ceilings and Cotswold stone adds so much atmosphere. It is one of the only venues that has a pulley system allowing for big installations in the ceiling, which I really advise taking advantage of.

For the ceremony we dressed the fireplace with a natural arrangement of seasonal blooms. It is always key to dress the fireplace in Cripps Barn as this is where you will stand for your wedding ceremony. This provides the perfect backdrop for your photos, and sets the floral scene for the upcoming celebrations of the day.

We also created this large floral chandelier in the barn, which is such a show stopping statement piece! Guests are always wowed and it creates a real talking point within your wedding day decor. Filled with lots of trailing foliage including amaranths with placements of seasonal flowers throughout it was a real joy to create this for Bec and Jimmy.

The tables at Cripps Barn were dressed with low glass vases with a natural hand tied of ivory blooms and foliage. Bec wanted a full floral feel to the tables, yet still natural and I love how much impact these arrangements create. The trend for foliage is still going strong, particularly for foliage runners on long tables, so it is always a great idea to do something different and this look really paid off. White table runners with lots of candles in glass lanterns finished the look off perfectly!

Cripps Barn have also installed a new chandelier in the dining barn, which we covered with a foliage and floral arrangement. Again this creates a real statement piece for the dining room, and guests always love dining under a canopy of flowers! It is always works so well to create one large, wow arrangement rather than lots of smaller arrangements that give off less impact.

I work at Cripps Barn and their sister barn The Stone Barn a lot, so I really know these venues well, which is important when looking for a florist to work with on your big day. I can recommend what works well at the venue and potentially what wouldn’t work as well, and by working together we can always create the most perfect flowers for your big day! Bec sent me the most amazing feedback after their big day…. One happy florist right here! A huge thanks to Photography by Krishanti for your amazing photos… I just love each one!

You really brought my vision to life, it was so nice walking in to the venue seeing it for the first time! So many of the guests commented on how beautiful both the floral rings were, you’re so talented and a pleasure to work with!”
