Llangoed Hall Wedding Flowers
I worked on the most beautiful summer wedding flowers at Llangoed Hall in August! Daisy and John were married at the house where Laura Ashley used to live, so of course we were going to fill it with flowers! Known for her floral designs, I remember having Laura Ashley wallpaper as a child growing up, multicoloured pastel bold prints… sounds pretty crazy, but I am sure it would be back in fashion now… maybe!

Daisy wanted subtle bright tones in orange, coral, blush and yellow for her wedding flowers, keeping the bouquets slightly more paler. August is known for dahlias so we used a variety of these gorgeous blooms alongside roses, spray roses, astilbe and snowberries. Soft green foliage featured in the bouquets with the most beautiful sweet pea tendrils and jasmine, a favourite foliage of mine to use.

The ceremony was luckily enough to be held outside in the grounds of the house so we made a statement meadow runner to run either side of the ceremony. Filled with larkspur, stocks, foxtail lilies and grasses I just love how Gyan Gurung has captured the florals here in his photography, such stunning work!

The boys wore buttonholes of peach spray rose, snowberries and foliage sprigs tied with ribbon. Tables were dressed with simple low vases filled with seasonal blooms. Thank you so much for sending the photos through, how cute is their dog?! Dogs at weddings is always a winner in my book!
