That time I filled Coombe Lodge with all the flowers!
Coombe Lodge is hands down one of my favourite venues to work at, so elegant and classy and with the most amazing views of the countryside! Helen and Ryan were married in July and choose soft pinks and ivory seasonal flowers to celebrate their big day. I may be slightly bias as Matt Willis photographed our own wedding (seen here on Rock My Wedding), but these photos are simply stunning and he’s captured the flowers at their best! Big thanks for sending these through!

Helen’s bouquet was filled with scented O Hara roses, Sweet Avalanche roses, blush Bombastic spray roses with green wigelia foliage and jasmine trails. Helen wanted a neat, compact look yet with simple wispy foliage trails, and the soft pink is such a pretty colour for summer. Helen had 10 bridesmaids who all carried a bouquet too, I have never had a wedding with so many bridesmaids, but I’m all up for choosing all of your best ones to help out on the day!

The happy couple were desperate to get married outside, but as you all know with the not so reliable British weather… this is never a dead cert. We set up for inside on the morning, and then went outside, and then finally ended up inside again! The ceremony was dressed with meadow like floral runners filled with soft pink and ivory flowers and lots of bright summery green foliage.

The mantel was also dressed with a full length meadow arrangement, this is such a different look for a mantel and really worked well up at Coombe Lodge. The tables were dressed with glass bottles of various heights and the cake was filled with blowsy roses. A real pretty, summer wedding to work on and I thoroughly enjoyed creating all these blooms! Congratulations guys it was a real pleasure!
