Pynes House, Devon

Our bride carried a natural bouquet full of daisies, orlaya, frothy chamomile, scented sweet peas scabious and locally grown gypsophila, which is absolutely nothing like the gypsophila you would have previously seen. Natural, elegant yet truly seasonal was the brief for the bouquets and our bride was thrilled with the creations on the day. Bridesmaids dressed in rich green carried a smaller version to tie everything together. The buttonholes consisted of white spray roses to compliment the black tie classy suits.

The sun shone so we were lucky to have an outdoor ceremony against the backdrop of the historic Pynes House. We dressed the grand front doors with floral pillars full of frothy white blooms, to create an inspired meadow design to envelope the couple during their ceremony. The flowers flowed down the steps creating a really natural and organic look to the ceremony.

wedding flowers for long banquet tables

Long banquet tables were full of lots of various sized glass votives & bud vases full of dainty grass, foliage and wispy seasonal blooms. We wanted to create a meadow feel going down the centre of the tables, so by using lots of smaller vessels we could really achieve this look. Stocks and sweetpeas added scent to the tables, alongside daisies & chamomile offering just the tiniest touch of yellow. The only foliage used on the tables was a selection of different grasses, to add touches of green but in a dainty, meadow style.

The mantelpieces were dressed with florals providing a cohesive look throughout. Pynes House has the most incredible decor inside so this wedding really shows how simple ivory flowers can work really well in a neutral coloured interior. Stylish, romantic, elegant & of course completely seasonal & scented!
