The LoveLuxe Launch at Goldney Hall, Clifton

Last week saw the exciting launch of a new blog LoveLuxe, a blog dedicated to showing off the industry’s finest inspirational wedding styling and party planning. Wednesday was the launch party held at Goldney Hall, a stunning wedding venue tucked away in the heart of Clifton, Bristol. The aim of the event was to showcase various wedding and event suppliers with a number of styled tables, and above all else for people to have a good old get together!

I provided flowers for the Belle and Boo table. Belle and Boo is a British lifestyle brand known for nostalgic ‘story book’ illustrations of children: Belle is a bobbed haired girl with her bunny best friend Boo. This made me smile a lot and for those of you who know me well will realise that I could not be separated from my toy rabbit Bubba when I was a child. Even now he is my most treasured possession, despite being rather moth eaten and battered. The theme for the table was a children’s party filled with party plates, cups, balloons, biscuits, sweets, cakes and flowers.

The flowers I chose to use were brightly coloured dahlias and roses in mixed size jam jars. I decided that the more colour the better with lots of different textures and scents including rosemary, mint and gorgeous scented stocks. Brightly colours and scented flowers add a fun, colourful aspect to the table which children would love. This amazing cake was made by Eat Sleep Cake and was enjoyed thoroughly by all!

It was a lovely afternoon and great to meet so many other people involved in the wedding industry. Goldney Hall was buzzing all afternoon with photographers relishing in the delights that had taken over, in particular three gorgeous models who modelled dresses from Kate Walker Bridal.

A big thanks to Goldney Hall for having us all and to Fosters Catering,  Caroline Alexander and Alexandra Brzezicka for the photos, and of course to Rosie who put so much effort into making the LoveLuxe launch a big success all round. I wish you lots of luck with your new blog! The Rose Shed xx
