Stone Barn Wedding Flowers
I have the most stunning Stone Barn wedding flowers up on the blog today! Sophia and Danny were married in September and chose a rich warm palate of dark red, blush and burgundy tones with tons of natural foliage. The wedding was expertly planned by luxury wedding planner Vanilla Rose Weddings, Jeni is always such a dream to work with. Her organisation, attention to detail and elegant style ensures she plans the most amazing weddings!

There are so many gorgeous seasonal flowers available in September, including dahlias which come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. We used locally grown English dahlias throughout this wedding, in dark burgundy coming in tiny pom pom shapes, large star shapes and dainty, spiky blooms. They really are such a versatile flower! Chocolate cosmos also featured throughout, which are a lovely dainty daisy type flower in a dark chocolate colour, which also smell like chocolate too! Isn’t nature amazing!?

Sophia and Danny were married inside the beautiful cotswolds barn. We flowered a huge mandap covered in natural english foliage branches, with placements of beautiful flowers throughout. Large cafe au lait dahlias were a real focus on the mandap, with snowberries, trailing amaranths, dark gladioli and lots of spray roses and garden roses. This colour combination looked stunning in the barn, creating real warmth and adding such a rich look with the barn.

We also created a large statement hanging floral installation within the ceiling of the barn. This would sit above guests throughout the ceremony, and then provide real impact for the wedding party in the evening. Creating large arrangements like this is one of our specialities! During wedding season you can constantly find us up a ladder, working out logistics, tying branches of foliage to structures and securing flowers in to make the most beautiful statement arrangements for your big day.

The wedding reception was one of the most stylish I have seen within the barn and that is due to a collaborative effort between Jeni, Sophia and myself. Long tables were filled with low glass urns filled with tumbling seasonal blooms, candlesticks and votives throughout. I love this look, as the tables look so full and elegant with lots of smaller, fuller arrangements filling the table.
