Soft peach wedding blooms for Swallows Nest Barn

I have the most beautiful summer wedding to share with you today! Hannah came to me with so many wonderful ideas when it came to her wedding flowers at Swallows Nest Barn and I was thrilled when she choose me to be her wedding florist! Hannah really wanted to keep the blooms soft, romantic and natural with an emphasis on using lots of foliage… I couldn’t be more happier as this is exactly the kind of flowers I love to create. Swallows Nest Barn is a stunning wedding venue in Warwickshire, a little out of my usual delivery area however I was so excited to work on Hannah’s wedding I didn’t mind travelling the extra miles. Just take a look at this beauty!

For the bouquets I used soft peach roses, astilbe, lisianthus and British dahlias and cosmos. I loved this combination and all the flowers complemented each other perfectly alongside the soft grey foliage and succulents! I love a bride with such exquisite taste! All the bouquets were finished off with flowing, trailing ribbons.

We went to town inside the barn with large stone urns filled with natural, trailing arrangements in the four corners of the barn, foliage garlands throughout the pillars and hanging foliage arrangements above the dance floor. This provided such impact throughout the venue, in a soft, natural foliage kind of way! Cute little chair end posies were tied to the end of the aisle chairs with peach ribbon, and foliage garlands were hung on the bride and groom’s chairs. A foliage and flower swag was also added to their ‘Welcome’ sign to greet guests as they arrived, it is all these special touches that really add to the day.

The tables were dressed with various silver mercury glass vases and votives filled with seasonal flowers and natural foliage, accompanied by lots of candles. Thanks so much to Hannah and Adam for sending their special photos through, it was a real pleasure to work with you on your big day!
