Lyndsey and Matt – Caswell House
I have the most beautiful Caswell House wedding flowers to share with you today! Lyndsey and Matt were married back in June in peony season and choose the most stunning soft blush and ivory colour palette. This complimented the gorgeous Caswell House in the cotswolds perfectly. Lyndsey found me through her amazing photographer Naomi Kenton, who I have worked with various times on weddings. Her photography is out of the world! You will see from the photos what a lovely couple Lyndsey and Matt are and how they styled their wedding day to perfection at Caswell House.

Lyndsey was so keen to use peonies in her bouquet, and why wouldn’t you want to use those gorgeous blowsy fluffy blooms in your bouquet! I teamed them with scented O Hara roses, lilac toned mint, astilbe, seasonal sweet peas with soft grey olive and eucalyptus foliage.

Bridesmaids:

Lyndsey’s beautiful bridesmaids looked radiant in soft green dresses. With the cutest flower girls having hair circlets and baskets of petals to throw down the aisle: such a sweet touch for the little ones! Tied buttonholes of ivory spray roses with foliage sprigs, finished off with silk ribbon, adorned the guys jackets. It is these finishing touches that will set your wedding flowers apart from the rest, and so important in offering that luxurious feel to the day.

Ceremony Decor:

The happy couple were lucky enough to have an outdoor ceremony due to our amazing weather we had this summer. I don’t think I have dressed as many venues outdoor as I have this year 2018 really was the year for lucky weather! A natural, meadow style arrangement filled with seasonal blooms dressed the ceremony table. The great thing about this style of arrangement is that is can be moved to the top table after the ceremony.

Reception Decor:

Inside the barn we really wanted to create high impact and use florals as the key focus for the wedding decor. Obviously I am bias. But in my opinion you really cannot beat going to town on florals to create that luxury atmosphere to your wedding day! A mix of tall glass vases were filled with a natural arrangement of seasonal blooms and low silver mercury glass urns. Having the mix of both tall and low spreads out the colour and interest throughout the room, rather than having everything at one level.

A truly stunning wedding, for the most lovely couple and always a treat to dress Caswell House with flowers! I’m always so thankful for my job as a wedding florist as I love seeing everything come together on the day itself. We go on a real journey with our couples. From the initial consultation, via the many emails and phone calls making sure you get exactly the look you are going for. Right up until the big day itself where we deliver and set up your flowers making sure they are absolutely perfect just for you!
