Cripps Stone Barn Wedding Flowers – Cotswolds Wedding Florist
I provided wedding flowers at Cripps Stone Barn in the Cotswolds, for the first time recently for Jackie and Alex! I absolutely loved working with Jackie as she had the best taste when it came to flowers and we choose the most special blooms for her big day! Jackie wanted to focus on using ivory, soft peach and blush wedding flowers with pops of succulents throughout. It was such a pleasure to flower this wedding and here are a few shots I took on my phone on the day!

For Jackie’s bouquets I used peach David Austin roses, ivory dahlias, peach lisianthus, blush blowy peonies, with soft grey eucalyptus and senecio foliage. A neat, compact hand tied this is a beautifully simple and classic choice and a bouquet that works with any bridal gown. The six bridesmaids carried smaller versions of Jackie’s bouquet and were all so excited when I arrived on the morning to deliver the flowers!

The boys had soft grey succulent buttonholes, with spray roses and foliage sprigs all tied with twine, the perfect compliment to Jackie’s bouquet.

It was a real delight to flower Cripps Stone Barn, in the most wonderful Cotswolds countryside setting, the views from the venue are superb and I can see what it is so popular with couples. The ceremony took place within the barn and I flowered up the large hanging baskets in the barn ceiling with lots of natural rustic flowers including larkspur, stocks, wax flower, lots of foliage with the most amazing pale pink hydrangeas. These hanging flower balls totally add the wow factor to any venue, and are a great backdrop to any ceremony!

The tables were decorated with beautiful silver mercury glass pedestal bowls, filled with a stunning selection of stocks, lisianthus, peonies, dahlias, astilbe, wax flower with foliage to compliment. I also added in succulents in glass votives throughout the tables for extra decoration.

Peach, blush and ivory have been one of the favourite flower combinations of this year so far, from looking at these photos you can see why! A very classic, elegant combination and one that will still look beautiful in years to come! Congratulations to Jackie and Alex I wish you all the best in your new married lives together!
