Christmas Wreath Workshops

This year our Christmas wreath workshops are looking a little different! Just like everything, we have had to think on our toes and change it all up a little! Like so many of events we are now going online… with yours truly creating a fun ‘how to’ video tutorial on how you can create your own wreath. This will also be accompanied by a DIY wreath kit with everything you will be needing to make one, including wire frame, moss, wire, foliage, and christmassy bits!

There will also be a select few dates for Christmas wreath workshops where I will be available on Zoom to individually join your workshop, and teach you step by step throughout. Grab your mates online, get the fizz out and get creative… Covid 19 will not stop us from having the best door wreaths in town! Betsy will also be on hand on our Zoom workshop dates.. she more than anyone is disappointed we cannot do workshops. Those crazy few weeks in December where we usually have over 200 people through the doors giving her a fuss, makes up for the lack of fuss she receives from me during wedding season!

DIY Wreath Kits:

I can post DIY wreath kits nationwide, or hand deliver in Bristol everything you will be needing to make a moss based Christmas wreath. You will need your own secateurs and of course feel fee to add in any extra bits from the garden, special xmas decorations you have to ensure all of ours are different! The wreaths will have a similar feel to the ones we usually make in our workshops. Filled with blue spruce, berried ivy, pistache with some beautiful wispy extras such as wild thyme! I will also pack in some cones, wires, alder twigs and lotus heads to make sure you have some neutral, christmassy details to add onto your wreath. I will add in some beautiful ribbon for you to either create a bow or hang your gorgeous newly created wreath on your door! To accompany your kit you will get a detailed video tutorial of me showing you step by step how to create your wreath, it will be filled with hints and tips enabling you to create you very own beauty. The great thing is you can pause the video as you go, following the steps and I will cover all basis answering the most common questions regarding wreath making! The cost is £45 and you can purchase here.

Online Zoom Workshops:

For those of you wanting to have a more interactive Christmas wreath workshop, I am offering a few select dates where you can book me (and Betsy!) for the evening. It will be just as like you are all in the workshop, but you will unfortunately have to pour your own fizz! Get together you and your friends and I can deliver or post kits to you all, so you can still have that great laugh that you all do in the workshops, just online! The beauty of being able to deliver nationwide, is that you do not all have to be in the same location, so ask your friends/family who are not local and book a date to get festive! You will receive your kits on the day of the workshop so you have everything you will need. The cost for these are £45 with a minimum of 8 per class, and I will list the dates below.

Christmas work party Workshops:

n

Last year I ran a few really fun workshops for staff Christmas office parties who were looking for something a bit different. I can offer virtual workshops for your staff office Christmas party this year… for everyone who has been stuck at home working from home why not organise a wreath making workshop?! I can deliver/post kits and you can all join in together! Please get in touch for dates, as I can work to your schedule and we can come up with a time that suits all!

My beloved wreath workshops have been running for 8 years now so I am desperately sad to not be able to invite you all to The Rose Shed to create your own wreath in person. It really is a Christmas tradition for so many people and I always look forward to welcoming you all here, with the huge sparkly tree and Christmas music! For lots it is the start of the Christmas period so I cannot tell you how sorry I am to not be doing the workshops this year, but I will hopefully see some of you online and definitely look forward to seeing all your home made creations on the door!
