Jackie and Rhett flew over from America to have their perfect 'English country garden' wedding at the stunning Temple Guiting Manor.

The wedding was expertly organised by Jeni, Vanilla Rose Weddings. If you are looking for a luxury wedding planner then I cannot recommend Jeni enough, not only is she absolutely lovely to work with. She is ultimately professional, efficient and makes your day run like clockwork. For me it is a huge bonus when working with experienced wedding planners, it really does take the stress away from you as a couple planning! The beautiful photos were captured by Hope Helmuth Photography, who also travelled over from America. The flowers have been photographed perfectly and I am so excited to share with you a little snippet of the big day!

I am totally in love with Jackie's colour scheme! The bouquets were filled with soft yellow, peach, apricot and dusky blue blooms. I had used dahlias in all different shades and sizes, that stunning apricot cosmos, oxypetalem, creme brûlée phlox and beautiful garden roses. Summer green foliage offered texture and movement to the bouquets, creating that 'just picked' garden look. Often couples think colour can be a big commitment, but I am sure you will agree here, by toning down and using warm pastel tones you can still create a timeless and elegant look to your wedding.

The ceremony was due to take place outside in the gardens, however thank you to the good old British weather, we had to relocate to a beautiful stone barn onsite instead. We created a stunning floral arch, which provided the backdrop to the ceremony. Filled with seasonal blooms in soft yellow, warm orange and pale dusky blue, it was a real joy to work with such colours and flowers. Floral meadow arrangements lined the edge of the barn offering texture, height and colour to the aisle. These could be easily transported after the ceremony into the wedding breakfast.

The wedding breakfast was held inside, on a huge, long banquet table filled with tumbling florals and tapered coloured candles. The room was filled with character and is the perfect place for a feast style wedding! Ceramic containers filled with seasonal bloom such as dahlias, zinnias, geums and British summer green foliage. Accompanied by beautiful tapered coloured candles, these finished off the stylish, luxurious banquet setting.
